- The CHIRIMEN KOGATANA knife dates back to antiquity, used
mainly for concealed carrying, then made entirely of steel to be as discreet
and convenient as possible to conceal. Over time, the KOGATANA knife did not
change its shape, but was also used by geishas. The master knife makers retain
the traditional shape and size, but add decorations to the handle of rice
fibers, silk and nowadays paracord, woven in the way of weaving the handles of
swords for a better grip.
- The body of the knife is made of 3 ply laminate and core of
White steel "Warikomi" with very high hardness 61-62 HRC.
- The protective case is made of kimono fabric and combines as
much as possible with the braid of the handle.
- The CHIRIMEN KOGATANA knife can be used for almost any
activity such as self-defense or in nature trips, ideal for gift and
collection.
- Each knife is unique in the range of colors and a second one is not produced.
