- Mcusta knives are made in Seki, Japan. They are the result of the synthesis between the traditional japanese handicraft and the cutting edge of technology. Seki has been the producing center of the japanese cutlery since the middle of the 13th century. It is the perfect place in Japan owing to its plentiful resources of iron sand and charcoal, besides the proximity of water and all the elements necessary for the manufacture of thin cutlery.
